Rogers RT/duroid 5870 31mil PCB: Redefining Reliability and Performance in Electronics
Our high-performance Rogers RT/duroid 5870 glass microfiber reinforced PTFE composites PCB is being introduced. This 2-layer rigid PCB has been constructed using state-of-the-art materials and processes to ensure exceptional performance.
The stackup of this PCB consists of a copper layer on top, by a 0.787 mm 31mil RT/duroid 5870 substrate, and another copper layer at the bottom. The copper layers have a thickness of 35 μm each, providing excellent conductivity.
Careful attention has been given to the construction details to meet the highest standards. The duroid 5870 high frequency PCB dimensions are 315.12mm x 139.85 mm, and three different types are available with a tight tolerance of +/- 0.15mm. The minimum trace/space has been set at 5/6 mils, allowing for intricate and precise circuitry. The minimum hole size has been determined to be 0.3mm, providing flexibility for various components. There are no blind vias in this PCB.
With a finished board thickness of 0.91mm and a finished copper weight of 1oz (1.4 mils) on the outer layers, this duroid 5870 PCB strikes the perfect balance between durability and performance. The via plating thickness measures 20 μm, ensuring reliable connections throughout the board. The surface finish has been chosen to be immersion gold, providing excellent protection against oxidation and enhancing solderability.
For ease of use, it has been decided not to include a top or bottom silkscreen. The top and bottom solder mask have both been applied in green, providing visual clarity and protection. Each PCB undergoes a 100% electrical test prior to shipment, guaranteeing quality and reliability.
In terms of statistics, this PCB hosts 102 components and a total of 240 pads. There are 126 thru-hole pads and 114 top SMT pads, making it versatile for various assembly requirements. Additionally, there are 78 vias and 6 nets, ensuring optimal connectivity for your designs.
